How to Easily Manifest Your Desires (quotes on faith)

November 22nd, 2008 admin Posted in spiritual | No Comments »

By Becky Kimes

I would like to begin by posing a question: Are we human beings having a spiritual experience or spiritual beings having a human experience?

I believe that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. But what does this really mean?

To me, it means that all of us are direct extensions of source or universal energy. This is the creative and powerful energy that makes everything from the tiniest grain of sand to the star systems that we are not yet aware of.

This alive and intelligent energy magically connects us to everyone and everything in the universe. This intelligent energy becomes apparent when you are thinking of someone and that person calls you within minutes, or even seconds.

Or you see the perfect pair of red shoes in a catalogue and know that they will look fabulous on you. Later that day you decide to try a new restaurant for lunch for no apparent reason. In the shop next to the restaurant you see your perfect red shoes in the window. We call such occurrences coincidences or synchronicities.

Think about your last coincidence. Now you know that it was source energy in action.

Because we are extensions of this energy we too possess powerful creative abilities, even though we may have forgotten that we have them.

You can activate control over your manifestation capabilities. Manifesting is your natural ability to have your thoughts physically materialize into the world.

You are already a powerful manifesting being. Whatever you are thinking about, and feeling is already being manifested into your life right now. You are always manifesting something whether it is a romantic date, a new pair of shoes, financial debt, a car accident or an exciting new business.

Whatever you focus on expands and you bring more of it into your life. The key is to focus on what you want and release all the doubts and resistance you may have regarding receiving your desires.

Remember I said that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. Being human means exploring, experiencing and enjoying all the wonderful material opportunities that are available to us.

What possibilities do you want to explore during this lifetime? Take out at least three clean sheets of paper. Make a list of all that you want to be, do, or have. List at least 30 items under each category. Are you ready to manifest them and bring them into your reality?

Manifestation is bringing spiritual possibilities into material form. It is just as easy to manifest a million dollars as it is an empty bank account. It is your creation simply by the focus of your thoughts.

Become crystal clear about what you want to create in your life. Your absolute clarity will assist in allowing and strengthening your connection to source energy. When you do this, your wants and desires manifest easily and naturally in perfect timing.

Do You Need Spiritual Fuel? (spiritual statements)

November 22nd, 2008 admin Posted in spiritual | No Comments »

By Dana Rongione

Gas prices. It seems like that’s all some people can talk about. You turn on the news, and you hear about gas prices. You pick up the paper, and you read about gas prices.

Frankly, I’m tired of hearing about it. Does the constant rise in gas prices affect me? Of course. Am I aggravated that it takes more money to feed my car than it does to feed my family? Absolutely.

But, how does complaining about it help any of us? How does it help to keep such a negative topic in the forefront of our minds day after day? It doesn’t help us at all. In fact, it hinders us from focusing on more important things, like spiritual fuel.

I don’t know a lot about cars, but I do know that they must have gas before they will run. No fuel, no go!

Our bodies work in the same way. God created us in such a way that our bodies need nourishment from food in order to work properly.

So, acknowledging what we know about our physical bodies needing fuel, why should we think our spiritual bodies are any different? Why do we often deprive our faith of the fuel it needs to grow and thrive?

In Philippians 3, Paul said, “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended.” In other words, he’s saying, “I’ve not arrived. I still have a lot of work to do on my faith.”

I think we can all say “Amen” to Paul’s statement. I believe we can agree that we have not reached the level of spiritual maturity that we long for. We possess the faith, but are we fueling that faith?

The Bible compares the Christian walk with a race. So, let me ask you this question: how often are you making pit stops? I don’t watch much auto racing, but more than once, I’ve seen a driver lose the race because his car ran out of gas. You can almost hear the conversation he has with himself as he passes that last pit stop. “I can make it a little father. I have enough fuel to finish. If I just keep going, I’ll win this thing.”

Good thought. Bad plan. By not giving his car what it needed, he cost himself the race. Not only did he not win, but he didn’t even get to finish the race.

Aren’t we like that sometimes, too? So busy with our daily demands and weekly routines, we bypass our spiritual fuel. We know we need to read the Bible, but it’s often just too difficult to fit in into our schedule. Our daily time with the Lord is interrupted by phone calls, sick children, or job emergencies.

Day after day, we struggle through, forsaking our spiritual fuel, then wondering why life is so difficult and why we can’t seem to gain any ground in our spiritual walk.

God has shown me time and time again that if I will devote the time to fueling my spiritual man, He will give me the time and energy to accomplish everything else on my “to do” list.

Try it out. See what happens when your spiritual tank is full. It will cost you some time, but you’ll soon discover that it’s well worth the price.

The Legend of Psychic Sylvia Browne
By Christopher Murray

Born October 19, 1936, Sylvia Browne is without question, “America’s #1 Psychic,” an internationally known psychic and medium. Sylvia Browne’s clients include celebrities and people from every walk of life. Some ask if Sylvia is real, but Sylvia has also been called upon to assist the police (and the families of victims) with crimes, and doctors with troubling cases. She is also a repeated best-selling author with more than thirty books published about spiritual and metaphysical topics.

Many tuned in weekly to see Sylvia Browne appear on The Montel Williams Show, which concluded this past September. Her funny, warm and infectious style of delivering the psychic messages appealed to an audience of millions on Montel. Sylvia is like the older sister you know and love, who just happens to truly know everything and makes you laugh as she tells you the God honest truth. Both the television audience and viewers at home were frequently brought to tears and laughter by her thoughtful and healing psychic messages. Some of her most popular Montel Williams appearances were her “yearly prediction” shows.

Sylvia Browne’s predictions have stunned and amazed millions as she has accurately predicted world events, milestones for celebrities, and so much more. Browne also hosts a regular radio show on Hay House Radio, offering her sage advice about paranormal and psychic issues with an international audience.

Sylvia Browne was born in “the heart of the Bible Belt” (Kansas City, Missouri) and is the older of two daughters. Her psychic gifts developed quickly; at the tender age of three, she saw the deaths of both of her great-grandmothers. She was simply terrified by this, but fortunately Sylvia had her Grandma Ada to turn to. Grandma Ada also had psychic abilities and understood her granddaughter even better than she could know. Grandma Ada explained to her that she was a psychic medium and that God gave her these gifts to help people. At the time, she had responded that these gifts scared her, and that she didn’t want them. Her Grandma Ada only smiled a knowing smile. Sylvia Browne developed a love for world religions at an early age, with a household that encompassed Jewish, Episcopalian, Catholic and Lutheran beliefs.

Sylvia Browne’s psychic abilities continued to grow as she did. At seven years of age, Sylvia met her Spirit Guide Francine. Francine said, “I come from God. I am here to guide and protect you, and you don’t have to be afraid.” While Sylvia was scared at first, after another talk with Grandma Ada, she learned that Francine was a trusted companion, advisor and life-long friend. To this day, Sylvia refers to Francine at many of her lectures, seminars and in her books.

As an adult, Sylvia Browne started a school to teach about spiritual subjects. She is a trained hypnotist and a highly-skilled trance medium. In 1974, she started The Nirvana Foundation for Psychic Research, today it is known as The Sylvia Browne Corporation. Classes grew larger and larger and what started in her tiny living room soon moved to a storefront location.

In 1986, Sylvia founded the Society of Novus Spiritus, a church located in Campbell, California. The Christian Gnostic beliefs include rejecting guilt, sin and retribution. It is a Gnostic Christian church. Sylvia creates special materials used specifically for the church.

Sylvia is continuing her legacy by working with her son, psychic Chris Dufresne. Chris now also offers private readings. Her amazing psychic gifts appear also in Chris Dufresne’s young daughter, Angeline. Sylvia Browne is still accessible to those that love her as she continues to do private psychic readings when so many at her level do not offer them.

Sylvia Browne is a best-selling author with more than thirty books published including If You Could See What I See, Lessons for Life, and Life on The Other Side. Her passion for research and enthusiasm for teaching spiritual subjects appeals to the millions that read and love her books. Many of her materials are available on audio CD.

Sylvia has touched so many lives and truly transformed them with her predictions and spiritual teachings. Sylvia gives lectures to sold-out audiences over and over.

Sylvia Browne is a popular media guest across the country, appearing often on television and radio programs. She is a frequent guest on Larry King Live and Coast to Coast AM.

What Are The Commonly Used Buddhist Symbols?
By MIKE SELVON

The spirituality Buddhism offers is one of peace and contentment. While it is true that not everyone in the Western civilization is familiar with the Buddhist teachings, it can still be a form of art that many find gives them a sense of peace and tranquility.

Buddhist symbols have become increasingly popular in the last ten years. Many decorators now incorporate some of the Buddhist materials when they are decorating. It is not meant as a sign of disrespect. Rather, they are used to bring others in touch with Buddhist art and the teachings that Buddhists practice.

One of the most prevalent Buddhist symbols is the Buddha statue. Most followers of the Buddhist practice possess one of these statues as a reminder of the Buddha. The statues may be made of stone, bronze or made of metal, and usually depict the Buddha in one of his meditation poses.

You can always find the big Buddha bellied statues at many consignment stores and shops. It seems as if the “laughing” Buddha is a novelty that many Western collectors love to have in their collections.

One symbol that has made its way into the jewelry industry is the chant “Om Mani Padme Hum.” You can now find necklaces and rings with this chant inscribed in Sanskrit. So what does this chant mean? It is said to be the sound of the universe.

Buddhists use this chant to reach a higher state of meditation. They chant this saying as a way to begin concentrating on clearing the mind and spirit.

Another symbol that many Buddhists and non-Buddhists use is prayer beads. These beads are very similar to rosary beads used in the Catholic faith. Buddhists chant and pray by counting each bead and saying a prayer.

It is said to calm the nerves and reduce anxiety. These beads can be found made of bone, marble, wood or even polished stones. The number of traditional beads used by a Tibetan Buddhist is 108 and this equals the number of mantras said by the user.

If you are looking for Buddhist symbols and wish to add them to your collection, then there are a number of places to shop. One website you may want to visit is “Ebay”. Ebay has many stores that sell traditional artifacts. You can buy the traditional Buddha statue, rings that bear the chant “Om Mani Padme Hum” or even find prayer beads carved from fragrant woods and bones. You can use them daily in your quest for peace and enlightenment.

The Divine Guru Represents The Unmanifest Form Of God (faith quotations)

November 22nd, 2008 admin Posted in spiritual | No Comments »

By Abha Shahra

I have experienced; how with the right purification from a divya (divine) guru; the karmas of this life and past lives can be felt, accepted and understood in the right positive manner; in the least of time.

This also is possible after lifetimes of being born as a human; that there could be that collection of noble or pure deeds within my karmic cycles (prarabdh); that destiny took me to that soul energy who entered my life in the form of a divine guru; and who took my hand and handed me over to God-to ShreeNathji - Shree Krishn.

I have found, God is very close to us and His kripa, along with the grace from the divine guru finishes all karmic debts within us and thus the soul shines out in crystal clear purity.

The purity in our life and our inner thoughts and actions has deteriorated to an alarming extent. It becomes so easy to not remember the truth about our birth.

The required motivation and courage to stay stable on this journey towards ones reality comes from God and the divine guru the sadguru.

The lifestyles today majority of us live in; it is extremely easy to fall back into the mayic jungle. We also today have access to a lot of knowledge from innumerable sources; possibly all not authentic; because of the easy communication available in our times. The entire world is there for us with as many news and views. Our thoughts are affected by the media to a very large extent. Because of the alarmingly different thoughts bombarding us today, how can we decide what is true and important for us at the particular stage and situation in our life. The sifting of knowledge is extremely difficult, with many trying to catch attention in not all the right ways.

There are too many preachers and spiritual leaders propagating various methods. We could get totally confused in trying out the extensive ways offered to us; in our greed for fast movement we might just lose precious time before realizing we have not reached anywhere. A little peace, slightly better health may have been achieved no where near to the inner self.

Could become a khichdi (mix) of the wrong kind. We in our innocence having spent so much time doing various sadhanas (methods) wait for the right opening. We may just end up feeling very disillusioned. All our innumerable methods of praying, meditations, scripture reading, chanting, satsangs, seva, yogic kriya; are ways not directly related with God. Without the right understanding, though we may spend hours praying; required purifications do not take place. We all know; without the right purity of bhao, heart, mind, body, soul it is impossible to be anywhere near the Divine powers.

Till the time one is not established strongly in the DOT, the closeness and regular support of the Guru is important and cannot be debated.

At times it can become very difficult and dangerous for a devotee to be confronted by non- believers, who may want to argue and demand logical explanations for spiritual truths. Only the support from a divine guru can help maintain the right balance, or else its easy to slip in the comfort of the known way of life which all approve of. To be able to stay firm, one requires help and guidance in the form of the right guru or master, who is overflowing.

Except in the people close to God who have merged with the consciousness, can such a quality be felt; or else -

In a world of beggars, who will give?

All are empty in themselves, hungry for various things

Greater name, more money, higher power

Simply the strong desire to tower above the rest of the humanity in what ever capacity could even be in the mask of religion!

How To Find Value and Grow Spiritually
By Roberto Garabell

With all the stuff that circle has terrified at us in this world, it may be a hard chore to grow spiritually. advanced conveniences such as electronic equipments, gadgets, and tools as well as entertainment through television, magazines, and the web have predisposed us to confine our musing usually to substance requests. As a findings, our concepts of self-worth and self-meaning are muddled. How can we have a stability between the substance and spiritual aspects of our lives?

To grow spiritually is to look inner.

Introspection goes outside recalling the gear that happened in a day, week, or month. You chief to look compactly and copy on your deem, feelings, beliefs, and motivations. Periodically tentative your experiences, the decisions you make, the relationships you have, and the gear you engage in present realistic insights on your life goals, on the good qualities you must sustain and the bad qualities you have to discard. Moreover, it gives you clues on how to act, answer, and conduct manually in the axis of any grant. Like any agility, introspection can be learned; all it takes is the courage and willingness to take the truths that lie inside you. Here are some pointers when you introspect: be objective, be forgiving of manually, and focus on your areas for improvement.

To grow spiritually is to push your potentials.

Religion and knowledge have differing views on matters of the being ghoul. belief views people as spiritual beings temporarily living on Earth, while knowledge views the ghoul as just one dimension of an individual. Mastery of the identity is a repeated theme in both Christian (Western) and Islamic (Eastern) tradition. The requests of the body are recognized but located under the requests of the ghoul. Beliefs, standards, morality, plan, experiences, and good mechanism present the sketch to apology the growth of the spiritual being. In Psychology, realizing ones stuffed impending is to self-actualize. Maslow identified some being needs: physiological, apology, belongingness, prize, cognitive, aesthetic, self-actualization, and self-transcendence. James formerly categorized these requests into three: substance, emotional, and spiritual. When you have satisfied the crucial physiological and emotional requests, spiritual or existential requests come following. Achieving each chief leads to the assess development of the individual. Perhaps the difference between these two religions and psychology is the end of self-development: Christianity and Islam see that self-development is a means near quota God, while psychology deem that self-development is an end by itself.

To grow spiritually is to explore for sense.

Religions that respect in the survival of God such as Christianism, Judaism, and Islam pretend that the idea of the being life is to entire the inventor of all gear. some theories in psychology propose that we ultimately give sense to our lives. Whether we respect that lifes sense is pre-determined or self-directed, to grow in ghoul is to catch that we do not solely live. We do not know the sense of our lives at birth; but we attain nation and wisdom from our interactions with people and from our actions and reactions to the situations we are in. As we locate this sense, there are certain beliefs and standards that we reproof and name. Our lives have idea. This idea puts all our substance, emotional, and intellectual potentials into use; sustains us during annoying times; and gives us something to look forwards to—a goal to achieve, a destination to improve. A face excluding idea or sense is like a migrant bliss at sea.

To grow spiritually is to concede interconnections.

Religions stress the belief of our relatedness to all life, live and graceful. then we call other people brothers and sisters even if there are no close blood relations. Moreover, deity-centered religions such as Christianity and Islam treatise of the relationship between humans and a advanced being. On the other hand, knowledge expounds on our connect to other living gear through the evolution deduce. This relatedness is clearly seen in the belief of biology, the interaction between living and non-living gear. In psychology, connectedness is a characteristic of self-transcendence, the chief being chief according to Maslow. Recognizing your connection to all gear makes you more humble and respectful of people, animals, plants, and gear in character. It makes you appreciate everything around you. It moves you to go outside your comfort zone and improve out to other people, and become stewards of all other gear around you.

Growth is a formula thus to grow in heart is a day-to-day decline. We win some, we exhaust some, but the important thing is that we learn, and from this nation, added spiritual increase is made liable.
