 A lot of information has been produced in recent years about angels, spirit guides and ascended masters and more and more people are calling upon them for help in dealing with the challenges of life. The information that is surfacing about these other-worldly beings is the result of intensive study into ancient texts that are thousands of years old.

Furthermore, normal people are increasingly experiencing paranormal or supernatural events as they live their daily lives. This is happening across the globe, in the lives of all sorts of different people whether they live in cities or towns, the countryside or even on the streets.

People who have personally witnessed the presence of supernatural beings or have experienced paranormal events have different educational levels, occupations and ages. They include men and women, girls and boys. Interestingly, they represent all faiths and religious groups as well as people who are not involved with any formal church or spiritual fellowship. Some of these people have explored their experiences in articles and even books.

However, the vast majority of those who have had these amazing experiences have not described them formally in writing at all. They just keep living their normal, everyday lives, but have incorporated the supernatural quietly by seeking direction from spirit guides, ascended masters and archangels.

These beings are not experienced in the same way by different people. Sometimes they appear as visions, sometimes they simply speak and at other times they are felt as a presence. However, their presence is detected, the people they connect with have very interesting stories to tell.

We are gaining more understanding over time about how these beings operate. For example, we now know that archangels, ascended masters and spirit guides have specific expertise and areas of specialty. Archangel Michael, for example, is charged with helping us overcome fear both individually and as a whole.

To better understand how to relate to and cooperate with spiritual beings, we can seek the guidance of Archangel Metatron who also specializes in helping children. Down through the ages, these amazing, extraordinary experiences have also been very natural. However, the supernatural experiences and contacts with other-worldly beings that have occurred throughout our human history are still mind blowing to human beings. Yet, our growing awareness of other beings, dimensions, and realities is finally beginning to be validated by quantum theory and the growing body of research in quantum physics.

When we realize that even spirit beings such as angels, spirit guides and ascended masters have special gifts and areas of specialty, we may be able to more easily accept and appreciate what we can uniquely offer as human beings. We also have things in which we are particularly gifted.

The combination of unique talents and interests that we all possess indicate our life purpose. These important elements of who we are combine to create our personalities and develop into the motivations, desires and decisions that create our destinies. Understanding this, should help us become more patient and understanding of both ourselves and other people.

Blavatskys Message and Teaching

 Helena Petrovna Blavatskys (HPB) task was to act as a messenger to bring the knowledge that there is a Divine Wisdom Theo-sophia as the root and basis upon which all philosophies, sciences and religions are founded and which guides the cosmos, nature and human life.

This Divine Wisdom is variously known as the Ancient Wisdom, or Wisdom-Religion, or Esoteric Philosophy, or Perennial Philosophy, or Occult Science. All these terms allude to the fact that Theo-sophia is not a system of belief formulated by an individual, nor a religion in the ordinary meaning of the word denoting formalized worship and ritual; instead it is the accumulated wisdom of innumerable ages that has been systematically checked by generations of sages the world over.

What then is Occult Science?

It is a generic term referring to the Hermetic or Esoteric Sciences, which explore the essential, or hidden secrets of Nature physical and psychic, mental and spiritual rather than, but not excluding, Her outward appearance and mechanical behavior which Western science studies to virtual perfection.

For example, that Swedenborg came to the Occult teachings in his general conceptions is shown by his essay on the Vortical Theory.

HPBs message

As to the message that HPB brought: it is based on fundamental axioms formulated into three propositions that cannot be thought of independently from the whole, meaning that no aspect, no principle and no law can be properly considered in isolation: the Universe and all that is in it constitute a WHOLE.

Furthermore, it cannot be too strongly emphasized that these propositions are not the invention of HPB or anyone else. They form the basis of the presentation of the doctrines of the Divine Wisdom. Countless generations of sages have checked these doctrines by study as well as practical experience in a manner akin to the inductive method of science whereby a hypothesis put forward is checked by repeatable experiments and only when there is a sufficient corroboration between hypothesis and experimental verification is the former elevated to a theory.

In similar vein these sages have found the teachings enunciated to be in consonance with the overriding philosophy formulated by them. But it was HPB who synthesized the diverse and scattered fragments of this doctrine into a coherent system and body of knowledge made available for the first time to, and in a suitable idiom for, the Western world at large.

But it is as well to point out here HPBs counsel that no human-born doctrine, no creed, however sanctified by custom and antiquity, can compare in sacredness with the religion of Nature. The Key of Wisdom that unlocks the massive gates leading to the arcana of the innermost sanctuaries can be found hidden in her bosom only: and that bosom is in the countries pointed to by the great seer of the past century Emanuel Swedenborg. There lies the heart of nature, that shrine whence issued the early races of primeval Humanity, and which is the cradle of physical man.

The Cards of Destiny have dealt humankind a jewel beyond price in HPBs message of spiritual uplift and universal brotherhood to be attained by a knowledge of the eternal verities of our existence. Have we used this sublime gift with gratitude, understanding and love? Who is to say? All spiritual teachers are but messengers. They proffer no initiations and perform no miracles at our behest. All that they can do is to say, with H. P.Blavatsky: I can tell you how to find those who will show you the secret gateway that leads inward only, and closes fast behind the neophyte for evermore. For those who win onwards, there is reward past all telling: the power to bless and save humanity. For those who fail, there are other lives in which success may come.

Twelve Qualities of Spirit - Health

 When we think of health only in terms of the physical body we think too small. And when we think small we find ourselves trying to deal with “symptoms” and “conditions” at the surface level and not achieving the results we want.

How do you define health for yourself?

Immediately when I think about health my thoughts turn toward my physical body. But as I explore health more deeply I know that for me, health includes wellness in all four dimensions of my experience not just the physical. I want health in the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of my life too.

Most of us have been taught to believe that the right vitamins, food, and exercise will give us perfect physical health. But it is clear we cannot feed ourselves a daily diet of negative thinking, and stew in negative emotions and expect our vitamins to override the internal mental and emotional states we create.

When we understand that we are the energy that animates our physical body we are more likely to unravel the root causes of our conditions.

When we focus on aligning with higher vibrations of mental peace and emotional acceptance we generally feel better. With attitudes of loving acceptance toward our bodies our ability to welcome and recognize real nourishment increases also.

Physical bodies get nourishment when we love ourselves and enjoy our lives. When we ingest food - and life - with joy - we feed our cells.

Achieving an ongoing connection to health is challenging in our world. Since we are all regularly bombarded with other peoples ideas about what is healthy and what it is not, we often find ourselves with confused energy and shifting states of health.

When we feel wobbly or uncertain we tend to forget this:

You are free to define what health means to you and for you.

Nobody, and I repeat NOBODY - no doctor, parent, spouse or friend - knows what is genuinely healthy or healing for you. You may want to gather information and suggestions from others and then make your own decisions for your own self. Often what appears to be unusual or out of the ordinary may be the most helpful for you.

Here is a good question to consider when you want to generate personal health: How comfortable are you turning away from mainstream thinking to embrace and honor your own unique path of healing?

The physical body is animated from within. When we manage our mental attitudes, care for our emotional happiness and remember who we really are, we strengthen our connection to health. Health is not confined to the physical body.

When I think of someone who exemplifies spiritual health the person who comes to mind for me is Christopher Reeve. Even though he was confined to a wheel chair he demonstrated such grace and offered such inspiration that I cannot help but see a healthy spirit when I bring him into my mind.

For me, acceptance of life as it is generates harmony inside of me. That harmony connects me with the spiritual quality of health. What works for you?

The Connection Option: Health

The Natural Energy of Health: Spirit is always healthy. There is no illness or sickness in spirit. In my mind I judge certain conditions wrong, or unhealthy and in seeing them that way I separate myself from the natural energy of health.

* As a Victim

I have a small and limited vision of what health is. When I see or experience anything outside of that vision I freak out! My fear generates more dis-ease and I find myself on a downward spiral.

* As a Creator

I take charge of my own healing. I treat myself with care and compassion. I feed myself with positive thoughts. I generate happy feelings. I know that life is a process and temporary states of imbalance will balance themselves if I accept and and allow.

* Action for Health

Today I see and know health in everything. I recognize the energy of health as the natural state of my own being. The energy of health is my very essence and I connect with the core of healthy energy that is alive within me. My thoughts are healthy thoughts.

My body is a healthy body. My feelings are natural expressions of life as it moves into and through me. As my mind is infused with a consciousness of health so is my body and physical environment. I relax and connect with the energy of health today.
